How does a high-efficiency water heater work?
In high-efficiency water heaters, almost all the energy consumed can be reused. This can be done by making smart use of the heat released when burning gas for hot water production. The heat is also transferred to the water supply via the heat exchanger. This means that very high efficiencies can be achieved with a condensing water heater that cannot be achieved with a atmospheric water heater.

Where are condensing water heaters used?
In 1996 we introduced the BFC Cyclone. A gas-fired high-efficiency water heater that set the standard in the market in terms of energy efficiency upon its introduction.
While the BFC is suitable for industrial and large commercial applications such as schools, sports complexes and hospitals, the Innovo range is made for residential and small commercial environments. Hairdressers, B&Bs and luxury villas. This means we offer an even more complete range of high-efficiency water heaters and can offer the most ideal hot water solution in every situation.
How sustainable is a high-efficiency water heater really?
Our gas-fired high-efficiency water heaters all have an A label or higher. Allthough gas is the least polluting fossil fuel we know, it can of course be even more sustainable when, for example, it’s combined with solar energy or a heat pump. You can also opt for an electric water heater. But then you have to be sure that you use it with green electricity (solar, wind). If that is not the case, a gas-fired condensing water heater is currently a better choice for the environment.
